Head of Test Engineering

Role Overview

As Head of Test Engineering, you will lead a multidisciplinary team to validate the performance and reliability of complex electronic systems. You will define the test strategy, from development to production, and drive the transformation of the department to accompany new business areas.

What You Will Do

Lead a team of test engineers, prioritize resources, analyze test results, develop test methodology, and plan staffing levels. You will also contribute to bids and propose strategies to minimize tests and reuse tests between programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in electronics field
• 3-5 years of experience in circuit board design and/or system product validation
• Knowledge of Labwindows
• Experience leading/managing teams in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
• Ability to understand complex systems and develop test plans
• Experience designing test fixtures and carrying out product validation
• Familiarity with modern testing methodologies and analysis tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
