Job description
As a Platform Engineer Observability, you will be part of a joint venture between Thales and Google Cloud, operating a trusted, sovereign Google Cloud region from within Europe. You will be responsible for making the platform observable, designing, deploying, and operating the LGTM stack, and collaborating with Google Cloud engineers.
Your main responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and operating the LGTM stack, defining monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies across GKE, operating log and metric pipelines at scale, and collaborating directly with Google Cloud engineers.
This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in Observability, SRE, or DevOps, with strong hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Kubernetes. You will have the opportunity to work on a greenfield observability scope, define the standard, and not maintain legacy systems.
