Safety Engineer

Role Overview

Join Thales in Sophia Antipolis, France, as a Safety Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge sonars and digital services. You will work in the Integrated Logistics Support department, responsible for ensuring the ability to support equipment throughout its life cycle.

What You Will Do

Conduct studies, define scientific and technical activities, and allocate performance to sub-systems to ensure supportability. Work with system engineering and Competence Centers to ensure support constraints are taken into account in system design.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of ASD and ASL standards
• Knowledge of functional/functional analysis and SDF components
• Knowledge of Service and/or Engineering professions
• Knowledge of system engineering techniques (requirement analysis, allocation of service requirements, system support design)
• Ability to organize and plan activities to meet cost/delivery needs
• Ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills, openness, and leadership
