Job description
Join the Thales Netherlands IS/IT team as a Virtualization & Automation Infrastructure Engineer. The team provides IS/IT support to 2500 NL colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. The role is part of the Hosting squad and works closely with other colleagues within and outside the squad.
As a virtualization engineer, your work is varied and includes daily checks, working on incidents, and addressing ad-hoc requests. You will focus on the maintenance and further development of our IT Infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on security and standardization.
We are looking for a colleague with expert knowledge of VMware infrastructure, experience in leading infrastructural projects, and strong communication skills. You will have opportunities for growth in tech-, management-, and commercial roles, and attention for personal development and own initiative.
