The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Mission Engineering Specialist/Senior Mission Engineering Specialist to work on end-to-end mission threads, evaluate program and mission strategic concepts, and lead project teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in space, intelligence, and/or defense domains, and will be proficient in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or modeling and simulation.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, physics, math, or STEM field.
- Substantive experience in space, intelligence, and/or defense domains, typically 6 or more years
- Proficient with engineering and analytic capabilities such as Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or modeling and simulation
- Experience with project planning and team leadership
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with customers, Aerospace program offices, and contractors
- Time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to organize and lead cross-functional, cross-organizational teams to execute studies and assessments
- Current and active TS/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
