Job Description
Join The Aerospace Corporation as a Section Manager, Thermal Systems Engineering to lead the Thermal Systems Engineering section and guide requirements, allocations, and validation for spacecraft and payloads. Plan and manage the training and daily tasking of a team of engineers and ensure the relevance and quality of technical products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or closely related field with emphasis in heat transfer or thermal sciences
- 5+ years thermal engineering experience
- Experience with the design, manufacturing, and testing of spaceflight thermal control systems for all relevant modes of heat transfer, both active and passive, and through all phases of program lifecycle
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government
