Business Finance Professional - Credit Controller

Role Overview

Join Apollo's global team of alternative investment managers as a Business Finance Professional - Credit Controller. This role will involve high levels of interaction with investors, internal investment professionals, and senior leaders, and will include tasks such as month-end close process, financial statement review, and investor reporting.

What You Will Do

Assist with month-end close process, review financial statements, facilitate annual audit, provide information for tax preparation and corporate reporting, and analyze and prepare expense allocations and budgets.

Requirements

• CPA preferred
• Public/Private accounting experience preferred
• College degree with a competitive GPA and demonstrated math or analytical ability
• Previous Hedge Fund/PE Style/Financial Services experience a plus
• Previous experience evaluating process controls, procedures, and flows
• Motivated individual with ability to take initiative and own designated tasks
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to synthesize and see the big picture
• Ability to juggle more than one project at a time and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
