Job Description
The Vacuum Truck Driver/Operator is responsible for safely operating vacuum trucks and related equipment to transport materials. This role requires strict adherence to safety standards, DOT regulations, and environmental compliance. The operator must load, unload, and dispose of materials efficiently and professionally, assisting site personnel and customers.
Requirements
- Safely operate a vacuum truck in compliance with DOT and local traffic laws.
- Transport materials to disposal facilities or customer-designated sites.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, manifests, and mileage/fuel reports.
- Vacuum truck operations: set up, operate, and monitor equipment.
- Safety & Compliance: Comply with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company safety standards.
- Maintenance & Equipment Care: Perform routine maintenance checks, clean, and report mechanical issues.
