Job Description
The Surgical Technologist/Vascular Assistant performs specific surgical tasks, assists with surgical setup and patient care, and maintains a safe and organized operating room environment. They are responsible for demonstrating competency in assisting with a range of surgical procedures and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and efficient care.
Requirements
- Perform surgical preparation of surgical procedures.
- Utilize resources to obtain supplies.
- Maintains sterile field and aseptic technique.
- Attends to patient needs and provides appropriate comfort.
- Performs post-operative care and patient transfers.
- Covers soiled gloves and manages soiled waste.
