School Custodian

The Clear View School and Day Treatment Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY, is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, sanitary, orderly, and safe workplace.

Requirements

• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms/bathrooms using predefined cleaning methods and procedures.
• Assists with the setup of facilities for meetings, classes, conferences, events, etc.
• Uses and maintains assigned power equipment and hand tools.
• Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
• Performs cleaning and related activities such as removing snow or debris from sidewalks and stairs using hand-operated tools or small power equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized storage area for cleaning equipment and supplies and keeps an adequate stock of cleaning supplies.
• Safely operates job-related equipment.
• Takes classes as required in cleaning methods and techniques, new products, First Aid, CPR, and working relationships.
