Accountant - National Academy of Engineering

The National Academy of Engineering (NAE) is seeking an Accountant to join their team. The selected candidate will work as part of a small team to prepare various accounting statements and reports for the NAE. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, and at least two years of related professional experience. The job offers a hybrid office/telecommute environment with occasional travel.

Requirements

• Drafts journal entries using the Blackbaud financial system
• Performs general ledger account analysis and reconciliations
• Analyzes complex banking and treasury transactions
• Reconciles long-term investment accounts
• Coordinates annual submission of state registration filings
• Prepares monthly financial reports and analysis
• Provides support to internal and external audits
• Maintains an appropriate standard of confidentiality
