The Opportunity Alliance is seeking Relief Residential Service Technicians to join their residential program teams. The role involves providing direct service in the residential group care or transitional living setting, providing personal support and supportive counseling to residents. The technician will contribute to maintaining a clean and organized facility and participating in team meetings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must become certified as Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician 1 (MHRT1) within 1 year of employment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft office preferred
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills required
- Flexible schedule is required
- Ability to work in a team environment required
- Must be able to pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check
- Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list
- Must pass CNA registry check
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen
- Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, driving, typing and frequently lift and carry material weighing up to 25 pounds
- Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area
