The successful candidate will provide proactive, strengths-based support to marginalized young people, delivering consistent outreach, case management, advocacy, and practical assistance.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Youth Work, Community Development, Social Work or a related human services field
- Demonstrated experience supporting young people with complex needs
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice
- Ability to build trust quickly and work effectively with young people in non-traditional settings
- Knowledge of youth homelessness, education, youth justice and community service systems
- High-level communication, relationship-building and advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently, safely and with sound professional judgement
