Polysomnographic Technologist - PRN

The Polysomnographic Technologist provides a comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders under the general supervision of the Medical Director.

Requirements

• Gather and analyze patient information
• Complete and verify registration and patient history documentation
• Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to the patient
• Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing
• Perform polysomnographic procedures
• Document routine observations
• Implement appropriate interventions
• Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events
• Generate accurate reports
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and safety and infection control standards
• Perform routine equipment care and maintenance
• Demonstrate effective written and communication skills
