Seasonal Cook

The Trustees is seeking a Seasonal Cook to work at Appleton Farms in Ipswich, MA. The Seasonal Cook will assist the Appleton Culinary Team with food preparation and cooking for the Farm Store. The position is limited-term, non-exempt, and requires 15 hours of work per week from June to December. The Cook will follow recipes, cook, bake, and safely package prepared foods, as well as assist with event day preparation and operations.

Requirements

• Background in food preparation and/or baking
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Enthusiasm for tackling a prep list
• Possess a strong appreciation for working with local farms and feeding the community
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
