The LPN utilizes the nursing process to coordinate an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, promoting and restoring patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Greets patients and prepares them for examination or procedure
- Accurately and safely administers intramuscular, subcutaneous, and oral medication as ordered in accordance with nursing standards
- Assists with the preparation of supplies and equipment and aiding the physician or advance practice provider during treatment, examination and testing of patents
