Job Description
The Medical Director will lead the charge in healthcare innovation, overseeing skilled nursing facilities and collaborating with nurse practitioners and physician assistants to provide high-quality patient care. The role involves attending quality assurance meetings, providing guidance to facility staff, and supervising clinical staff. The Medical Director will also participate in administrative and quality initiatives, and provide primary care services to residents.
Requirements
- Board certification in a primary care specialty (e.g., internal medicine, family medicine)
- Ability to supervise collaborating nurse practitioners and physicians assistants
- Ability to utilize electronic/online medical tools such as EHR systems and state/county medical systems
