
Job description
The External Affairs Intern will assist with community outreach efforts, prepare materials, and conduct research assignments. The role is open to undergraduate and graduate students with a keen interest in communications, Public Affairs, or community outreach.
Assist with proactive community outreach efforts, prepare materials, write and edit documents, track and report city council agendas, conduct research, plan and coordinate meetings and events, and draft responses to social media questions.
This internship is a great opportunity for students to apply their education and skills in a real-world setting. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and presentation skills, be able to work evenings and weekends, and have a keen interest in communications, Public Affairs, or community outreach.
