Senior BIM Modeler

Role Overview

We're seeking a Senior BIM Modeler to support the design and documentation of complex projects using the latest modeling software. The ideal candidate is self-directed, technically skilled, and comfortable working across all phases of the building design process.

What You Will Do

Create 2D CAD/3D BIM models to a high level of accuracy, develop structural plans, sections, elevations and details from a 3D BIM model, and clearly annotate, dimension and detail production drawings.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of design experience, an Associate's Degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience, and excellent understanding of 3D parametric modeling.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of design experience
• Working knowledge of structural building components, structural construction materials (steel and concrete), standard construction techniques, and basic understanding of print reading and construction document production
• Excellent understanding of 3D parametric modeling
• Excellent skills in relation to rendering and graphic formats and their manipulation and output
• Experience in Rhino, Grasshopper, TEKLA, and data exchanges between BIM platforms is preferred
