Thrive is an innovative technology solutions provider looking for a Network Engineer to maintain and support network infrastructure for clients, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet technologies and exceptional troubleshooting skills.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Cisco Catalyst and Meraki switching platforms
- Proficient experience with Fortigate and Palo Alto firewalls
- Working knowledge of FortiManager and Panorama
- Experience with FortiClient and GlobalProtect VPN implementation and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with IPSec VPN configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
- Proven experience setting up ISP connections with automatic failover for enterprise clients
- Experience with Meraki wireless solutions
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Great analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to work efficiently and deliver results under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for daily client interactions
- Ability to effectively collaborate with and guide field technicians remotely
- Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network security
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
