Financial Consultant

The Financial Consultant provides in-person and virtual counseling for participants, new entrants, prospects, beneficiaries, and their legal and financial representatives on TIAA products and services. They offer financial planning advice to help clients achieve their immediate and long-term financial goals. The role involves regional travel and requires a license within 120 days.

Requirements

• Counsels participants on pension plans, tax-deferred annuities, and other investment options
• Educates and recommends new product purchases and provides authoritative information for personal financial planning decisions
• Provides exceptional customer service and executes transaction and service requests
• Communicates with cross-business partnerships to develop and implement TIAA products and services
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with Institutional Plan Sponsors
