Big Data Engineer, Data Solutions

TikTok is seeking a Big Data Engineer to join their Data Solutions team in Singapore. This role focuses on innovating and maintaining complex systems for ad data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and build data-related products, and ensuring data quality and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will contribute to the technical vision and work with cutting-edge technologies to expand the capacity to serve advertisers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical field, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• At least 3 years of experience in the data warehouse space.
• Experience in custom ETL design, implementation and maintenance.
• 3 years of experience with SQL statements.
• At least 2 years of experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.
• At least 2 years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• Proficient in one of the programming languages such as Python, Java or C++.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights.
• Ability to manage and communicate data warehouse plans with internal clients.
