Maintenance Technician

Timken, a global technology leader in engineered bearings and industrial motion, is hiring a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician in South Haven, Michigan. The role requires performing repair and maintenance on equipment in a plant, along with the building and grounds, and involves moderate to extreme physical exertion.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions)
• Excellent electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Proficient in electrical/electronic schematic reading
• Proficient in working with and hydraulic and pneumatic systems and reading hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
