
Job description
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to proactively interact with customers and win new business for air freight, ocean freight, sea-air freight, truck and rail freight along with customs brokerage. The role involves increasing sales and volumes to achieve economies of scale and greater reliability of services.
The Business Development Manager will work independently with the Toll network to increase volumes on key trade lanes and verticals in line with the sales strategy.
To succeed in this role, you will need a good command of written and spoken German, a foreign language (English) and solid IT skills. You will also need to be confident in conversation and correspondence, and have a good understanding of numbers in dealing with analysis and statistics tools.
