
Job description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the growth of freight forwarding account sales for their territory. They will identify new business opportunities, achieve sales quotas, and communicate market trends to the product and management teams.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing weekly and monthly performance metrics. The manager will also assist in the preparation of RFQ's and bids, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the transportation and logistics industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
