
Job description
This is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for end-to-end ownership of the ocean product, from rate procurement and pricing through to customer solutions and profitability. Leading the regional ocean freight pricing and services team, you will drive competitive positioning, secure capacity, and translate strategy into scalable, high-impact outcomes.
Define and execute the country-level ocean pricing and procurement strategy in line with global and regional frameworks. Lead carrier sourcing, contract negotiation and the Core Carrier Program to secure competitive rates, capacity and service continuity. Drive yield and margin improvement through pricing discipline, cost analysis, KPI management and accurate rate administration.
Extensive experience in ocean freight forwarding, with deep capability across pricing, procurement and commercial decision-making. Strong contract negotiation expertise with a proven ability to manage and optimise carrier and vendor relationships.
