PRODUCTION OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Production Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management of the production operations in a food processing manufacturing facility. This includes production planning, scheduling, and coordinating all production activities and the management and direction of production workers.

Requirements

• Develop and implement production plans for the facility for daily, weekly production targets.
• Schedule and coordinate the activities of production workers for forecasted production.
• Monitor the production process to ensure that KPI's are being achieved and that waste and downtime are minimized.
• Work cross functional with quality and maintenance to insure that the facility meets all quality and safety standards
• Manage the production department budget for personnel and resources
• Recruit, train, and develop production workers, supervisors and hourly personnel on Lean manufacturing principles and the achievement of KPI targets.
