Torc is seeking a Senior Learning and Off-line Perception Engineer to lead the pseudo-labeling team in creating high-quality annotations on sensor data for autonomous driving. The ideal candidate will have experience in computer vision, deep learning, and large-scale machine learning operations, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying modules for off-line detection, tracking, and object fusion. The role involves project management, technical guidance, and mentoring team members.
Requirements
- Design, implement, test, and deploy modules for off-line detection, tracking, and object fusion
- Demonstrate project management skills as a project lead guiding a team with members having little experience in multiple aspects of project execution
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning for autonomous driving
- Develop independently off-line perception models or algorithms using disciplined software development processes
- Document created applications
- Define and implement the ingestion, preparation, curation, and governance of large multidimensional data sets
- Proactively evaluate current capabilities to identify areas for improvement
- Measure and track the quality of automatic labeling to meet internal customer requirements
- Guide and produce informative products, supporting data visualization and accessibility in a customer-centric manner
- Evaluate and make recommendations on technical advancements that improve productivity and quality
- Develop guidelines and standards for analysis and machine learning models, their deployment, and associated processes
- Provide technical guidance or expertise, technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members
