Job Description
Refurbishment Engineering Superintendent required for a CANDU Refurbishment specialist role, providing engineering oversight for the Refurbishment Project, ensuring safe, timely, and budget-friendly delivery. Main duties include engineering oversight, technical assurance, project management, performance and people management, and risk management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering
- 10 years relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with CANDU Nuclear Power Plants
- In-depth knowledge of site outage/installation/maintenance of CANDU Nuclear Power Plants
- Comprehensive understanding of CANDU technology and operations, with expertise in BOP, Turbo Generator, and Common systems
- Demonstrated capability to manage and lead engineering and design organisations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in leading technical projects to successful completion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and high commitment to quality
- Strong attention to detail and to quality assurance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team situation
