Store Manager

The Store Manager is responsible for learning the duties of the Store Manager position and developing the skills required for a Store Manager role. The primary duties include delivering a Legendary Customer Experience, building the team, driving sales, managing inventory, managing profit and sales, expense control, reducing and managing shrink.

Requirements

• Recruiting, hiring, developing, evaluating, disciplining, and retaining efficient team members
• Delivering on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA
• Creating and fostering a welcoming environment and sense of belonging in the Store
• Schedule, organize, and plan daily activities for team members to ensure efficient store operations
• Problem solving and conflict resolution for both team members and customers
• Learn sales and profit management – accountable for achieving top and bottom line
• Promote a safe and productive work environment
• Manage the daily merchandise flow to ensure adequate in-stock and inventory controls
• Implementing and sustaining merchandise presentation per company standards
• Evaluate competitive environment and working with Operations and Merchandising teams to ensure quality and performance
• Train on daily, weekly, and monthly processing of required paperwork
• Manage periodic price changes
• Communicate inventory needs to buyers and distribution centers
• Coordinate and conduct special sales events
• Address team member issues and concerns, working with HR team when necessary
• Assess and develop team members for advancement within the organization
• Budgeting and sales forecasting
• Auditing store processes
