Join us as a Senior Engineering Team Leader for Railway Structures, leading a team of engineers and providing technical guidance, support delivery of assessments, and ensuring the safety, reliability and compliance of bridges and structures.
Requirements
- Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer (CEng) or able to demonstrate equivalent experience and competence
- Knowledge, skills and experience in undertaking structural assessment of railway bridges, stations, buildings, covered ways and related infrastructure
- Applying engineering judgement to assess asset condition, capacity, risk and required interventions
- Structural design, assessment, maintenance, repair and strengthening of civil engineering structures
- Relevant legislation, standards, and safety, environmental and risk management principles
- Technical assurance and quality control of engineering calculations, reports and designs
- Supporting multidisciplinary engineering projects, including track and drainage renewal works and structural modifications
- Managing or supervising engineering teams and developing early-career engineers, graduates and apprentices
