VP, Media Relations and Social Media

We are seeking a VP, Media Relations and Social Media to join our Corporate Communications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive communications programs in the US and UK, promoting the company and its products through traditional media and social media, and driving earned media coverage. The role requires exceptional communications skills, experience in corporate communications, and strong leadership skills.

Requirements

• Establish strategic vision and best practices for the Media Relations and Social Media teams
• Recruit, develop, mentor, motivate and coach the team
• Identify public relations opportunities to build, protect and enhance Travelers' reputation
• Foster strong relationships with local, national, financial and trade media outlets
• Monitor, measure, report and evaluate the effectiveness of news media coverage and social media
