Software Quality Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software by developing and executing effective testing strategies across the development lifecycle.

What You Will Do

Design and manage test strategies, plans, and quality checkpoints across the software lifecycle, develop and maintain reusable test cases, execute manual testing, and document, track, and manage defects.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of experience in software quality engineering or a related QA role
• Extensive experience creating test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases
• Experience with defect tracking and lifecycle management tools including Jira or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with test management tools including Xray, Zephyr, or similar platforms
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies
• Experience with API testing tools including Postman, REST-based tools, or similar
• Experience with version control systems including Git
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
