Miscellaneous Metals Welding Quality Control Inspector 1 or 2 (SIGN-ON BONUS of $1,000)

TrueNorth Steel is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their quality control team. The position is responsible for inspecting products to ensure they meet quality and contract specifications and meet external certification standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, perceptive, and able to work accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements

• Welding inspection training
• Any applicable standards knowledge such as AWS, City of LA, API, UL, or STI
• A thorough knowledge of contract documents and blueprint reading
• Excellent math skills
• Leadership skills to motivate co-workers to quality workmanship
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace
• Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
• Be dependable and trustworthy
