The Major Gifts Officer identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards individual and institutional prospects ($10,000 and above) for select programs, centers, and institutes for both Penn Medicine and the Abramson Cancer Center (ACC).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in institutional development with emphasis on major gifts from individuals and organizations
- At least one year in an academic medical center or a large scientific/health care research institution is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to meet fundraising goals with a growing confidence in managing and balancing donor/faculty/volunteer relationships
