Role Overview

As a Controller in the Quality Assurance and Review team at Crew Finance, you will report to the Director of Quality Assurance and assist in the cleanup of financial operations and reporting for our venture backed or bootstrapped startup clients.

What You Will Do

Review and assess the current state of clients’ books, identify gaps, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies. Reconcile historical transactions, correct misclassifications, and resolve unreconciled balances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of progressive professional accounting experience in a client services organization
• Strong expertise in accounting systems and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to clean and reconstruct messy or incomplete financial records
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-financial stakeholders
