Quality Engineer

Role Overview

The Quality Engineer supports the Quality Assurance organization by applying fundamental engineering and problem-solving skills to ensure product conformity, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. This role partners with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure basic quality requirements are correctly interpreted and flowed into production documentation.

What You Will Do

Assist in completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and related documentation, support customer source inspections, review sales orders, participate in internal investigations, and update and maintain quality procedures.

• Foundational understanding of AS9100/ISO 9001 requirements
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills across departments
• High attention to detail with strong documentation accuracy
• Ability to learn and apply quality tools, FAIR requirements, and inspection methods
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Exposure to ERP/MES systems preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams under guidance and supervision
