Survey Crew Chief

Join TULLOCH as a Survey Crew Chief and support mining, construction, and infrastructure development in Central and Northern Ontario. As a team member of the Geomatics team, you will perform a wide range of surveying services, including boundary retracement, construction layout, monitoring, and high-definition 3D laser scanning.

Requirements

• Assess field and documentary evidence to perform boundary surveys
• Perform pre-engineering, topographic surveys
• Read and decipher design documents for basic layout calculations
• Perform high-precision surveys such as industrial layout, deformation monitoring, levelling, and static control network surveys
• Perform construction layout for anchor bolt locations, grid lines, formwork, concrete piers, and footings
• Collect field data using traditional survey instruments such as total station and high precision levels as well as GPS field equipment
• Oversee QC of data collection ensuring that field notes and daily downloads are complete
• Collect terrestrial scanning and UAV data
• Interact with clients while onsite
• Maintain safe workplace operations in compliance with our health and safety policies and procedures
• Mentor and train new field staff
