Staff Software Engineer (L4)

Join the team as a Staff Software Engineer in the Enterprise AI Engineering team at Twilio. As a technical leader, you will bridge the gap between AI research and production systems, driving technical vision and strategy to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. You will be responsible for co-leading the design and development of software infrastructure, developing sophisticated web applications, and mentoring high-performing engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role
• Experience with full-stack development building web apps, using modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Typescript or React
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex data projects at scale
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing engineering teams
