Surgical Technician -TOSH - Sign-on Bonus

This is a job posting for a Surgical Technician at The Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital at UAMS Health. The ideal candidate will have current Operating Room experience and be able to work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff to provide optimal patient outcomes. The Surgical Technician will assemble supplies, set up and maintain the sterile field, pass surgical instruments, and assist in room preparation. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate care for surgical cases.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an NBSTSA-accredited Surgical Technology program
• NCCT-approved Surgical Technology program
• Completed military surgical/scrub tech training
• Two or more years of on-the-job surgical/scrub experience in an acute care facility or ambulatory surgery center
