AWS DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks in support of client engagements. This role involves ownership of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and deployment automation within secure environments, particularly across public sector clients.

What You Will Do

Build and maintain scalable, secure and automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub, manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, implement automation across build, test and deployment workflows, and deploy and maintain containerised workloads using Kubernetes or AWS-native services.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including core compute, networking and security services
• Proficiency in GitLab or GitHub for version control and pipeline management
• Demonstrable experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code delivery
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and operations in cloud environments
• Working knowledge of OWASP security principles and how to apply them in CI/CD and infrastructure design
• Competence in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell
• Experience operating within Agile delivery environments and supporting multidisciplinary technical teams
