Cardiac Monitor (EKG) Tech - Emergency Department - Santa Monica

We're seeking a highly-skilled EKG-Tech professional to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department. In this role, you'll be responsible for continuously monitoring patients' heart rhythms, vital signs, and respiratory rates at the Central Monitor Station.

Requirements

• EKG certificate or certification, highly preferred
• Associate degree or diploma, preferred
• Experience in 5-lead EKG monitoring using Phillips® monitor, preferred
• Successful completion of an approved basic arrhythmia program
• Ability to establish and maintain a courteous and co-operative working relationship with patients, families and co-workers
• Ability to speak clearly and distinctly using English vocabulary and grammar
• Ability to understand oral and written English
• Ability to read and write Standard English text
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations (adds, subtract, multiply and divide)
