Development Manager

Role Overview

The Development Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate partners and individual donors to advance United Way for Greater Austin’s fundraising goals. This role will drive year-round engagement by creating meaningful opportunities for donors and partners to connect with United Way’s mission through fundraising, volunteerism, and community impact efforts.

What You Will Do

Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners and individual donors, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Implement workplace campaign strategies and employee giving programs for corporate partners, and deliver a high-quality, personalized donor experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of three years of relevant experience
• Experience in fundraising, account management, sales, or donor relations
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and team building skills
