
Job description
The Management Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting of certain business units within UMPG. The role involves working cross-functionally with senior leaders, A&R, Business Affairs, Sync and Administration teams. The finance team ensures our investments in artists and songwriters are underpinned by sound data, agile planning and informed forecasting.
Responsible for month end close process, financial reporting, and compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley control environment. Assist in preparation of financial statements, liaise with internal and external auditors, and manage artist contractual and non-contractual payments.
Must have ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, good academic background, and strong analytical skills. Experience of closing out month end, Sarbanes-Oxley experience, and ability to implement business and operational systems are also required.
