Visiting Assistant Professor of English and Writing

The Department of English and Writing at the University of Tampa invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in technical writing and editing to begin in August 2026. The position involves teaching three courses per semester with half of the course load in technical writing and half in academic writing.

Requirements

• Teaching introductory courses in technical and academic writing and upper-level courses in related areas
• Teaching experience in industry, government, or non-profits
• Experience in teaching both technical writing and academic writing
