Assistant Professor of Nursing and Clinical Innovation

The University of the Cumberlands is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Nursing and Clinical Innovation to teach undergraduate nursing courses, develop curriculum, and engage in service to the Forcht School of Nursing, University, profession, and community.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution (doctoral degree preferred)
• Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kentucky or compact state eligibility required)
• Minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience within the immediate past five years
• Demonstrated expertise in a clinical area such as community health, leadership, medical-surgical, pediatrics, or mental health
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and student success
