Job Description
Emma L. Bowen Community Service Center, also known as Upper Manhattan Mental Health Center, is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide clinical services to children ages 0-8 and their families. The organization has over 45 years of experience in northern Manhattan, offering services in early childhood, substance abuse, and residential treatment. They are a Certified National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site and are committed to providing support and care to diverse populations.
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English (bilingual proficiency required)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
- Enthusiastic about working with children under 8 years old
- Reliable, ethical, and team-oriented
- Basic to moderate computer proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to manage self-care and maintain professional composure
- Experience with early childhood populations
- Active New York State licensure: LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC
