Job Description
The Substance Abuse Counselor will deliver addiction treatment services to patients/families, providing psychosocial assessment, treatment, crisis intervention, and group counseling. The position involves maintaining a caseload, completing intake forms, conducting assessments, and participating in staff meetings and training. The role requires conducting random urine and monitoring medication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and/or CASAC/CASAC-T require.
- At least 2 years of experience in the Alcohol & Substance Abuse Services field.
- Counseling experience required.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Computer Skills are a requirement.
