Job Description
The Patient Service Representative will greet patients, obtain demographic and insurance information, and assist with billing and insurance verification. They will also collect co-payments, maintain a cash box, and keep the waiting area clean and neat. The role requires customer service experience, basic knowledge of insurance plans, and proficiency in computer software.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years medical office experience
- Customer service experience in a healthcare environment
- Basic knowledge of insurance plans, including Medicare & Medicaid
- Proficiency in computer software use, including Word, Excel and Outlook
