Job Description
Urology of Virginia (UVA) is seeking a Physicians Assistant to provide office-based care to cancer patients in their Cancer Center. The role involves managing the entire urologic oncology process, including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and renal cancer treatment, collaboration with physicians and APPs, and contributing to ongoing research. This is a competitive position with a strong, nationally recognized program for APPs.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Licensed in the state of Virginia
- Proficiency in ordering and evaluating laboratory, radiological and diagnostic tests
- Ability to prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications and devices
- Knowledge of cancer treatment protocols and procedures
- Independent medical judgment
